Description: SCP-409 resembles a large quartz crystal approximately 1.5m tall and 0.6m wide. Any object coming into contact with SCP-409 will begin to crystallize after three hours. This happens to any material other than granite. Crystallization spreads at roughly 2.5cm per minute. Once complete crystallization is reached, the object creaks for about twenty minutes and then bursts into thousands of fragments. Anything that touches a fragment begins to crystallize. Inorganic matter only crystallizes for a few centimetres around the point of contact. Recovered in ████████.
